New beginnings

Hi folks!

It’s been a minute.. hope you’re all doing ok and keeping steady after the past couple of years. I’ve had a pretty quiet time on the music front..well quiet on one hand, but on the other hand things have gotten much louder.

I’ve not played an awful lot publicly for the past few years. Aside from the obvious pandemic based reasons - I’ve been regrouping a little. My hands have found themselves in a slightly tricky spot, so much so they haven’t been getting on too well with my acoustic guitars which has been mildly inconvenient to say the least.. But I’ve discovered electricity and plugged in on an electric guitar - hands are happier now. I’ve also started playing with a drummer, Dan Hayward, to reimagine some old material and begin writing some new stuff. It’s been a lot of fun! I started tentatively playing out again in 2022 and feel like doing a lot more this year if I’m able, a mixture of solo on electric and with drums. I’ll update the gig listings page on the website as and when things get booked in.

I’m buzzing at the thought of playing out a little more, hearing other musicians and sharing in the joy made by notes and air. Hopefully see you soon
